Situation
To be able to receive guests even during the cold winter months, Strandpaviljoen Urk requires an atmospheric, weather-resistant terrace canopy that matches the existing corporate identity.
Result / solution
In the picturesque village of Urk, situated on the IJsselmeer, you'll find Strandpaviljoen Urk. To get through the cold winter months in a cosy, dry, and snug way, the owner opted to roof over the terrace of the beach pavilion. Through customisation, the tent construction has been made to fit the terrace perfectly.
For this canopy, Kontent Structures de ES 170 (8 x 8 m) deployed.
Because the tent structure has a free span, the space can be optimally utilised. Furthermore, a burgundy roof sheet with anthracite and transparent side walls has been chosen, so that the tent fits in perfectly with the original colours of the beach tent.
Characteristic
The tent structure was placed on a high terrace. This was not a problem thanks to our aluminium components and skilled personnel.
