Roof lining

Choice of translucent PVC sheeting (620 g/m²) or opaque PVC sheeting (750 g/m²). European certified, UV-resistant and flame-retardant according to international standards (DIN 4102-B1).

Choice between translucent PVC tarpaulin (620 g/m²) or opaque PVC tarpaulin (750 g/m²).

Because you often use your storage tent, construction shelter, or temporary accommodation for an extended period, your structure must meet additional requirements. Our semi-permanent accommodations are therefore fully aligned with the regulations for temporary construction from the Bbl, ensuring your project always meets the highest standards.Our quality promise rests on the following pillars:

• Certification: We work according to the strict ISO 9001 and VCA** standards for a safe and controlled process.
• Standardisation according to NEN-EN 13782 (Temporary structures - Tents - Safety) This is effectively the standard for events and may be used for accommodation with an installation period of no more than 3 months.
• Standardisation according to NEN-EN 1991-1-3 (Eurocode 1 - Actions on structures). NEN-EN 1991 stipulates that for accommodations used for longer than 3 months, a so-called `reference period` of 15 years must be taken into account; and therefore a design snow load of at least 42 kg per square metre must be considered. In practice, the snow load standard is often incorrectly taken into account too little or not at all.
• With over 25 years of experience, we guarantee a reliable and professional on-site execution.

Anchoring & Safety

At Kontent Structures, we guarantee a storm-proof setup for every accommodation. Our tents and halls comply as standard with the NEN-EN 13782 norm and can withstand wind speeds of up to 100 km/h (can be reinforced to 120 km/h upon request).Depending on the surface and your project location, we apply the most effective anchoring:

• Drive-in pins: for robust anchoring in various substrates, with an embedment depth of approximately 1 metre.
• Concrete anchors: For a direct and rock-solid fastening to concrete floors and concrete slabs.
• Ballast blocks: Heavy concrete blocks (1250 or 2500 kg) when you don't want or aren't allowed to damage the underlying surface.
• Heavy-duty flooring: For maximum stability, we connect your tent structure directly to the floor, these contribute to anchoring.
